Erin Lucien served as an incredibly valuable strategic advisor to Higher Logic both before and throughout its transaction with JMI Equity. The Company engaged Springstone in advance of our financing process to work closely with the shareholders and executive team to identify the liquidity options and opportunities to enhance value in a future event. Our early engagement was instrumental in enabling us to focus on the core metrics for our business and to better articulate our value proposition to the investor community. Erin remained engaged as an advisor throughout our transaction process, working closely with both Higher Logic and our legal counsel to help ensure a successful outcome for our shareholders and team through our transaction with JMI Equity. Throughout both the consulting engagement and transaction process, Erin provided valuable financial and strategic insight and guidance. I can’t say enough good things about Erin. The best I can do is recommend her to every entrepreneur I know!
NAIS engaged Springstone to serve as its M&A advisor as we evaluated and executed a divestiture of SSS, our financial aid SaaS offering for independent schools. Erin was actively involved in every stage of the transaction providing both strategic guidance and insight on how to navigate the process most effectively for our organization and members as well as providing tactical assistance with key initiatives and requirements. She stepped in as a valuable member of the deal team and played an important role in the process. Her leadership and expertise enabled our team to meaningfully increase the deal value and complete the divestiture successfully. Erin was also just a pleasure to work with. She was incredibly responsive at all times. She was a very quick study, excellent at thinking through tough issues. She was adaptable, very quick with her deliverables, and always positive and solution-oriented. I would recommend her services without reservation.
Erin Lucien has been a valuable strategic advisor to Diamond Mind, from well before we initiated a capital raise through its successful completion. We relied on her guidance and counsel, as well as her hands on involvement, as a critical factor in achieving our shareholder objectives. Erin leveraged her transaction experience to expertly prepare our executive team for outside investment discussions and acted as an extension of our team from beginning to end. She enabled us to navigate the investment process including any challenges that arose and was effectively able to communicate our value proposition and interests as if she was one of the team. Her unwavering focus on our success was an important driver to our ultimately completing a strategic investment. Last but not least, she was a pleasure to work with, always proactive and an outstanding communicator.
Erin is an invaluable asset to the executive team and particularly to the CFO, as the team approaches any strategic initiative including fundraising. Many times a CFO's perspective is quite different from the rest of the exec team and Erin is helpful in reinforcing some basic elements regarding how an outsider will view the company. Her insights were helpful to us as we analyzed our own business and the ever changing market dynamics in our space as we prepared investment materials. She was a good sounding board as well as a huge help in pulling together critical market data. Erin is skilled at balancing the role of advisor while still being able to assist in a way that helps move the process forward without any added obstacles. Working with her makes things easier not more complicated. It doesn't take long for her to quickly become a part of the team.
